She showed horses in 4-H, participated in junior rodeos and in 1995 was Yerington High School Rodeo Queen on her horses Bobby Jo and Oreo.
Amber’s daughter Kylee is a college sophomore and her son Tyler graduates high school in 2020. She enjoys swimming, water sports, beaches, cooking, camping, Tahoe, watching Tyler race dirt bikes in the desert, and fishing if someone else baits the hook. She loves to travel, especially to St. Thomas, where she honeymooned. She lives in Reno with her husband and one feline child, Buddy.
